Recently, I have been writing more and more reviews of liquids, and surely some of you are a little tired. Well, time to correct, today we will talk about the device. And not just about some device, but about a rather non-trivial, bright device from the company SMOK , which is called SMOK H-Priv .
The manufacturer provided us with a review of the device in the “whale” version – SMOK H-Priv Kit , which also includes the Micro TFV4tank , and although it is almost no different from its predecessors, we will also talk about it.
Well, let’s proceed to the review.
To begin with – the appearance of fashion.
This is such a bright, cool thing this H-Priv . Red button, chopped lines … the design is quite interesting, at least it can not be called trivial. But it is very bright, for me personally, even too much. And the button is red in any color variation, and there are three available – black, silver (as in the photo) and white. Of course, I would also like a version with a black or chrome button, it would be cool.
On the back we have a device logo and an indication of the maximum power – 220W .
Well, in the assembly with a complete tank, the whole thing looks like this:
Cool, very cool, at least for lovers of everything bright. Although here is a person in a strict suit, for example, pulling out of his pocket, such a “semaphore” I imagine weakly. Purely youth design, I would say.
The idea behind the SMOK H-Priv is a cross between the SMOK R200 and the SMOK X Cube II . Do not be lazy to look at the reviews of both devices on the links in the title, and you will immediately understand what I mean. When I first saw it, I, frankly, had the feeling that this was the successor to the X Cube , but as it turned out, it was not. Rather, it is “middling” in the line SMOK .
Although if you compare it with the X Cube II , there are already visible improvements in the form220W , larger display and more compact size.
But the display graphics – straight from the X Cube II , as well as the menu logic and, in general, all controls. The display is really great – bright, easy to read, the menu is comfortable, everything is quite cool.
Type of tank in analysis:
Now let’s talk about the tank. In fact, this is the usual TFV4 Mini (diameter 22mm), but even more mini. In the analysis it is clear that constructively nothing has changed dramatically, just reduced.
However, one thing has changed – driptyp. From now on, it has a beveled shape, made of a dolrin, and, as you understand, it has no additional air intakes. Oh yeah, why didn’t I take it off? And because its horse-radish you will remove without having damaged. You can, of course, pick up something sharp, but I didn’t have an acute need for it, but it didn’t work out to remove it in the normal way, so … so we assume that it is not small. Sorry, SMOK , but it really is, it was necessary to provide something (groove, knurling, whatever) for easy removal.
Refueling remained the same brand:
Flip cover, not too large hole. Pipettes and bottles with a thin nose – problems know, something else is no longer a ride. On the other hand, you do not need to hold the lid in your teeth when refilling, conveniently. Tank volume – 2.5 ml with standard glass and 3.5 ml with an extended one (included in the kit).
There are two coils in the kit :
On the left we have a Micro-CLP2 at 0.3Ω (30-60W) with a clapton inside, on the right – a Micro-STC2 at 0.25Ω (30-60W) with a parallel dual-handle stainless steel.
Coils have 4 large enough openings for the supply of fluid and powerful blowing:
Also pleased with the knurling in the upper part – it is very convenient to tighten them, even if the fingers are in the fluid.
Micro TFV4 has 4 air holes, about the same as those of its fellow TFV4 Mini , the most powerful airflow , the tightening is very easy, hookah. Adjustment is standard, by rotating the ring.
The SMOK H-Priv connector has a steel threaded part, spring-loaded and gold-plated “+”. Everything is quite high quality and familiar for other SMOK devices .
The tank connector is simpler – the center pin appears to be silver plated, it has no adjustment.
The battery compartment cover resembles that of the SMOK R200 , a convenient sliding cover, which I personally like much more than the covers located on the sides of the case.
On the cover there is an indication of the polarity of the battery installation, gold-plated contacts. A cool little thing was the H-Priv logo on the inside of the lid. Apparently so as not to be confused with the lid from the R200 (by the way, it does not fit here).

As you can see in the previous paragraph – the microUSB port is located on the bottom, it is intended only for software updates, charging is not provided.

Box, set of delivery:
In terms of the box, everything is in Smokovsky style, familiarly. The front side shows the complete set, on the back – description of the delivery set and the actual set:
Inside the cover there is a familiar black solid box.
Inside the box on a soft substrate, the device itself, and under it – a bunch of various “special stages”. Rich and nice package.
SMOK H-Priv, despite the excessive (by my standards) brightness, pleased not banal design and high quality workmanship. The device is very pleasant to take in hand, it’s nice to use it, it’s nice to look at it. The ergonomics of the case are also high, due to the small dimensions it fits nicely in the hand. Great display, great power button with a nice tactile response, everything is thought out.
What I did not like: the lack of a black version, or at least a chrome button. Red is a pleasant, bright color, but not everyone loves it. But the design of the device surely pleases many. So a version with a quieter button would be most welcome.
As for the Micro TFV4– I was pleasantly surprised by this baby. The fact is that due to the size reduction, the length of the mine has decreased, the coil has become much closer, and as a result of this taste it has become more, it is more pronounced, chtoli. That is, it would seem, a mini-tank, the main purpose of which is compactness, turned out to be even more tasty than its “full-size” counterpart. The ability to install an extension cord and increase its volume to 3.5ml is generally an excellent solution, since 2.5 is still not enough, but 3.5 considering the dimensions is quite good.
In general, SMOK H-Priv Kit as a set made a very pleasant impression. It can be recommended to fans, from among those who like to buy “everything at once”, just to get out of the box and use. And the pros, I think, will appreciate this set. Well, for a newbie, this is generally a royal choice, the sensations of hovering will be very pleasant, but the box mod “outgrow” will not be so easy.
