Geekvape Aegis Mini Kit Review – Little Hard Nut! Includes Stress Test

Introduction: The Aegis Mini Kit from Geekvape

Oooh I am happy – I have on my desk the stunning Geekvape Aegis Mini Kit from urvapin

I have been so close to actually buying this as this looks like the perfect kit for me!

Geekvape Aegis Mini Kit

The kit comprises of the Aegis Mini mod and the Cerberus Sub Ohm tank.

The mod as you can see is a miniature version of the original Geekvape Aegis and the dual battery Aegis Legend. However this version is weeny and has a 2200mAh internal battery.

You still get a nice screen and the output is adjustable up to 80W. The chipset is the AS Chipset as used in the bigger Aegis versions and guess what – it is still Waterproof, Shockproof and Dustproof!

The kit includes the Cerberus tank which also comes in the excellent Geekvape Nova kit and has 0.3ohm Super Mesh coils.

There are 5 colours to choose from – Black & Green, Stealth Black, Black & Blue, Camo & Gunmetal and Black & Red.

Build Quality & Design

I received the Geekvape Aegis Mini kit in the Black and Green version.

Geekvape Aegis Mini Kit

It is beautiful!!

The colour match between the green accents on the mod and the ones on the tank looks incredible too!

Geekvape Aegis Mini Mod

This is so so so gorgeous in real life.

Geekvape Aegis Mini Kit

Little details such as the stitching on the hand grip panel – exactly like the larger versions. The colour of the stitching matches the metal mod accents and the tank accents perfectly.

Geekvape Aegis Mini Kit

This tiny little mod gives you the feel of a perfectly created miniature replica!

Geekvape Aegis Mini Kit

Every little detail is smaller and even cuter on this!

On the side of the mod is the screen which is clear and bright no issues with this at all. The adjustment buttons are below the screen and are the clicky-est-tap-dancing-shoe-noise buttons I think I have ever encountered!

aegis mini screen

The fire button is above the screen and is really small. It doesn’t have the “Rocker” switch style the bigger Aegis versions have. But perfectly responsive I just keep missing it as it is small!

Geekvape Aegis Mini Kit

The spring loaded 510 connector on the top of the mod is held in with 3 visible screws but all seems secure and no problems here. Measuring across the 510 I would say 26mm tanks should fit on here without overhang and possibly up to 28mm diameter.

Geekvape Aegis Mini mod

On the base of the mod is the battery vent holes and the plug which you remove to access the USB charging port.

Geekvape Aegis Mini mod

The body has a rubbery feel and it does attract fluff, but it is lovely to hold and the metallic accents and leather panel all fit perfectly. Please excuse all the fluff this has accumulated over the 2 weeks in use. Just to make it worse the tank keeps leaking so wiping the mod with a tissue is turning it into a fluffball too!

But one tip I have found a simple rinse under the tap will remove all the fluff!

Geekvape Cerberus Tank

This is an odd creature but quite pretty.

Geekvape Aegis Mini tank

I did find an 810 drip tip with O-rings will fit.

Geekvape Aegis Mini Kit

At the base of the tank is the adjustable airflow control ring which is super smooth without being loose and “spinny”.

Geekvape Aegis Mini tank

You have an unscrew type top cap for refilling but it is only 90° turn to remove and replace so nice touch there Geekvape. There are 2 filling ports under the top cap and I had no issues using 10ml or 80ml bottles to refill with.

Geekvape Aegis Mini Kit

I have had a few leaks from this tank when I first filled up. I took the base off the tank and found the installed coil was loose – so make sure to check that before you first fill up.

Geekvape Aegis Mini Kit

However as time went by I still get leaks when the mod is tipped over – even when taking the photos for this review I was mopping up behind it.

Stress Test

So as this is marketed as being Shockproof, Waterproof and Dustproof I ought to at least try and test this claim out!

I am not going to test the Cerberus tank – as quite frankly with it leaking that tells me “where e-liquid can escape then water will get in!”

So to start off I dropped the Aegis Mini mod into a bucket of water – then I turned it on to see if it would still work whilst submerged and when removed from the water.

I also tried several drop tests. Well more of a “Throw” test…

aegis mini damage

After the drop test the mod did sustain some external cosmetic damage – sob – broke my heart – but it works fine and no damage to the screen either.

Thankfully there are many spare parts available for this mod – so I will get a new skeleton on order from here

I didn’t fancy the Freezing in the freezer test as you cannot remove the battery from this model which made me poo my pants a bit at the thought of it expanding and becoming damaged.

Also I will leave the mod to dry for a few days – as some times circuit board damage only shows up when it starts to rust.

Set-up Guide

The mod and tank arrive in the box separately. You will need to fill the tank, charge the battery and screw them both together. Then away you go…

Mod Basic operation

  • Turn mod on or off = 5 clicks of the fire button
  • To lock/unlock mod = hold + and – adjustment buttons down at the same time. You can still fire the mod but the adjustment buttons are locked. A small padlock symbol will be displayed on the screen.
  • To enter the Menu = press the fire button quickly 3 times.
  • To exit the Menu = press and hold the fire button or wait 5 seconds without pressing any buttons.
  • Adjust power / temperature = use the up and down adjustment buttons

The menu system on this is pretty simple.

Three clicks of the fire button will highlight one of the functions on the screen. Click the fire button to move onto the next function or the adjustment buttons to adjust.

  • Power – when this function is highlighted use the adjustment buttons to select which power mode you require – Power (Variable Wattage), Ni, SS, Ti (Temperature control modes), TCR, VPC (Custom curve mode) and Bypass. Press fire when the required mode is showing on the screen.
  • Temperature Control – you select the applicable mode depending on the coil material you are using (Ni= Nickel 200, Ti = Titanium, SS = Stainless Steel).
  • Coil resistance = when in TC or TCR mode select the coil resistance and press the – adjustment button to lock this. This should be done with a cold coil before using temperature control modes.
  • TCR – select the TCR mode as stated above. Using the adjustment buttons set the TCR parameters and press and hold fire to confirm.
  • VPC – select the VPC power mode. Using the adjustment buttons adjust the parameters and press fire to confirm. You can do this for up to 5 memory slots.
  • Puff Counter – when this is highlighted press the + adjustment button to clear the counter – press the + button again to cancel clearing the counter.

Safety Features

The mod also has the following safety protections:

  • Short circuit
  • High resistance / no atomiser found
  • Low voltage (battery needs charging)
  • Device overheating
  • 10s fire cut off (to prevent accidental firing and damage)
  • Anti-dry prompt (Temperature control mode)

How To Charge The Battery

To make sure that the mod stays waterproof the USB charging port is covered with a watertight plug – so try not to lose it!

This can apparently support 2A charging – however I was charging using the USB on my PC which I think does only output 0.5A. The charging time from an empty battery was 1 hour 15 mins roughly which is ace really.

  • Pop your nail in the little cut out on the USB port plug.
  • Lift up the plug.
  • Install the small end of the USB cable into the charge port.
  • Install the other end of the cable into a suitable USB outlet.
  • Whilst charging the screen will show a battery graphic.
  • When fully charged the screen will go blank.

How To Fill The Tank

  • Unscrew the top cap – it only takes about half a turn.
  • Add e-liquid to the filling ports (not the centre hole!).
  • Watch the liquid level through the tank glass.
  • Replace the top cap.

How To Change The Coil Head

An excellent feature of the Geekvape Cerberus tank is the ability to use coil heads from other manufacturers. The Smok V8 Baby, Vaporesso GT and Eleaf HW coils will all fit and work in here – just make sure the resistance and power required will suit the mod.

cerberus tank other coils
Coils – Installed: Smok TFV8 Baby. Left to Right: Geekvape Supermesh, Eleaf HW and Vaporesso GT
  • Remove the tank from the mod.
  • Turn the tank upside down and unscrew the base.
  • If a coil is installed unscrew it from the base.
  • Screw a new coil into the base.
  • Replace the base onto the rest of the tank.
  • Fill the tank and leave to stand for a good 10-15 mins as this has mesh coils which if not fully soaked in e-liquid will feel like vaping hot tar.

How Does the Geekvape Aegis Mini Kit Perform?

Flavour & Cloud Production

This is a Sub Ohm tank so it is best to use thicker e-liquid with a lower nicotine strength.

I am using my usual E-liquid – Stika Bombz Fruit Salad which is 80% VG and 6mg nicotine.

Super Mesh X2 Coil

Both coils in the full kit are the same specification.

geekvape super mesh

This is a 0.3ohm coil made from KA1.

The rated power is 30-45W and the “Best” recommended power is 30-40W.

I found myself using this at 45W. I just felt it needed a bit more Oomph.

The clouds from this are surprising when you think of the low wattage you are running it at!

The flavour is pretty good – not the best I have had from a mesh coil but by no means terrible. I found the Uwell Nunchaku tank which you can run at 40W is better for flavour and that has standard rather than mesh coils. Also the Vaporesso NRG tank with the CCELL coil which only needs around 30W was better flavour in my opinion. The GT CCELL coil will fit into this tank!

I did find the flavour improved after a few tank fulls of e-liquid so it appears there is a short “bedding in” period. So far the coil life has been great at over 700 puffs.

Airflow wise – you can fully close off the airflow and fully open there is some restriction with a bit of a whistle. If you are expecting the virtual no restriction of say a TFV12 Prince tank then this will be too restricted for you.

I enjoy a restricted DTL vape and I tend to have this in the half open position.

I will say this tank is not as thirsty as a lot of mesh sub ohm tanks – but it is higher resistance and running at lower power. After a week of use the performance of this coil has not decreased either.

Geekvape Aegis Mini Mod Performance

aegis mini voopoo

I have no fancy gear to test the accuracy of the mod – so I used the Cerberus tank on my Voopoo Alpha One mod at 45W and the same on the Aegis Mini mod and found no difference in performance. So from what I can tell the Aegis Mini is outputting pretty much the same power.

I also tried the Freemax Fireluke Mesh tank on both mods set at 65W and again the performance seemed to be equal between both mods.

The fire button is very responsive even though I keep missing it!

I do find the adjustment buttons weird. Single short presses result in 0.1 increment adjustments. Hold the button down and it will fly through in 1.0 increments. But it really does fly quick and hard to let go in time at the setting you want!

The screen is lovely and clear and despite being dropped and knocked over this little mod still works an absolute treat. I have had no issues or errors with the mod at all.

Battery Life

This is a pretty basic device in terms of only a small 2-colour screen and no flashing bling lights.

The power / temperature setting and your vaping habits will obviously cause a variation in battery life. But to give you a guide vaping at 45W regularly I got 315 puffs and just over 5 hours.

As the battery level drops (Like on the original Aegis) it will not output full power. You find even set at 45W it will only put out like 24W – then the battery weak prompt comes up. At this point the tank has already started to flood as it is too low power to vaporise the liquid sufficiently.

  • One of the prettiest kits I have ever seen – like a miniature version of the bigger Aegis models.
  • Build quality is superb, all the accents and finishes are perfect.
  • So robust – this has fell of a shelf 3 times onto a hard desk and coped with the leaking tank when first installed and not a blemish or issue from this.
  • Even on my old PC charging at 0.5A it only took 1 hour 15 mins to fully charge.
  • Surprisingly good battery life.
  • Ability to use other brand coils in the Cerberus tank.

  • The installed coil was loose in the tank – so make sure to check before filling.
  • I still kept getting leaks from the tank whenever it was tipped over slightly even with 80%VG liquid and I took it apart several times to check all was ok.
  • The rubber coating does attract more fluff than a boiled sweet in a trouser pocket.
  • There are better tanks out there for flavour at the same wattage.

Final Review Verdict

I love this little mod. It is so cute, so lovely in your hand and it just does what you ask of it. Plus in the tradition of the Aegis range so far in the hands of a clumsy arse like me it hasn’t skipped a beat either.

The included Cerberus Tank was OK. This has higher resistance coils than those used in the Nova kit and the performance was decent. Not horrendous but not something I would rave about either.

I possibly would suggest something like the Uwell Nunchaku tank on here as that runs well at like 40W. At similar power levels the Nunchaku tank is far superior for flavour in my opinion. Other suggestions are the Vaporesso NRG tank with the CCELL ceramic coil  – which only needs around 30W, Eleaf Melo 4 or a MTL style tank such as the Innokin T20S.

Of course you can also try some of the Smok V8 Baby, Eleaf HW or the lovely Vaporesso CCELL coils in this tank too – which may improve the performance. I will be popping a CCELL coil in here myself as I think they are great.

Running some of the better mesh tanks such as the Freemax Mesh Pro would be a pain as the mod only outputs 80W and with an internal battery constant use at 75W on the Freemax tank will mean your battery life will be poor. However running the Geekvape Aegis Mini mod at 45W the battery life was way better than I was expecting!

Joyetech Ultex T80 with NCFilm heating Review

The Joyetech Ultex T80 is a tubular vape mod with a cool futuristic design and packed full of interesting features that we usually see on box mods. But what really sets it apart from all the other similar vape kits on the market – of which there are many – is the Cubis Max tank. It’s got top airflow to minimize leaking, holds up to 5ml of e-liquid, and most importantly, it does away with coil-heads, relying instead on an innovative heating element that can allegedly be cleaned and re-used for months.

A Look at the Contents

The joytech Ultex T80 kit comes in a large rectangular cardboard box with the assembled tubular mod and sub-ohm tank on the front, and a list of contents, company information and a scratch and check authenticity seal on the back.

Joyetech Ultex T80

Inside the box, we have the single 18650 battery tube mod sitting next to the Cubis Max tank, a spare glass section and a smaller box that contains the micro-USB charging cable and two small bags of accessories (cotton sheets, spare o-rings for the tank, a spare NFC heating element, and a small screwdriver). At the bottom of the box you’ll find separate user manuals for the mod and the tank as well as a battery warning card.

Design and Build Quality

Yeah, i have to say the Joyetech Ultex T80 looks very different compared to the vast majority of regulated tubular mods. Instead of a simple tube with an unimpressive tank slapped on top, you have this intricately designed piece of metal that, in my opinion, resembles the handle of a lightsaber, and a futuristic-looking tank. It’s really quite impressive for appears to be a rudimentary vape mod. But appearances can be deceiving, as there is much more to the T80 that meets the eye.

Joyetech Ultex T80

The mod is made of zinc alloy and has a comfortable weight to it with a battery inserted, and the tank is made of stainless steel and glass.

From the bottom of the battery tube to the Delrin drip, the Joyetech Ultex T80 measures 138.5mm and has a diameter of 28mm. But that’s around its widest point, so don’t assume that you can get away with a 28mm atomizer without any overhang. The Cubis Max tank is also 28mm around its glass section, but it’s actually only 26mm at the base in order to align perfectly with the tank. So any tank or RDA with a base larger than 26mm will overhang.

It’s hard for me to describe the general look of this mod, but I think the word futuristic pretty much sums it up. So if you’re into SciFi, alien artefacts, and stuff like that, I think you’ll find it very attractive. I personally like the overall design and I think Joyetech deserves a thumbs up for trying something different.

Joyetech Ultex T80

Starting at the top, the Joyetech Ultex T80 mod features a classic 510 connection with a gold-plated, spring-loaded 510 pin. The fire button is located close the top of the mod, opposite the micro-USB charging cable. Instead of the classic round fire button, Joyetech decided to go with an elongated rectangular design that fits the general design of the mod very well. The button protrudes from the mod quite a bit, is very clicky and doesn’t have any rattle.

The ‘+’ and ‘-‘ buttons are located between the fire button and the small display near the bottom. They are not marked but it doesn’t take a genius to figure out which is which, since they are positioned one above the other. Unlike the fire button, which doesn’t rattle at all, these adjustment buttons are very loose and do rattle if you shake the mod. However, I didn’t find them annoying at all during day to day use.

Joyetech Ultex T80

The Joyetech Ultex T80 is one of the few modern tube mods that features an integrated display. It reminds me of the early regulated tube mods, like the Provari 2.5. It’s a small, black and white screen with an unimpressive resolution compared to the gorgeous screens we’ve seen on box mods like the Modefined Draco or Smoant Naboo, but it’s a nice feature nonetheless.

Finally, at the bottom of the mod, we have the battery cap, which unscrews to reveal the single 18650 battery compartment. The bay itself is a bit tight. Batteries with original wrapping fit snug, but rewrapped batteries tend to get stuck inside because there’s no wiggle room at all. That’s a pro and a con, depending on how you look at it.

Joyetech Ultex T80

Menu System and Navigation

Most of the regulated tubular mods I’ve reviewed lately, like the SMOK Stick Prince or the Eleaf iJust 3 didn’t even have a menu. They ere rudimentary vaping devices that pulled power straight from the battery, so all you had to to was screw on an atomizer and push the fire button. Well, the Ultex T80 is different. Not only does it have variable wattage technology, but it also has most of the features we see on advanced mods, like temperature control, TCR and preheat settings. To be honest, I really didn’t expect it to be this complex.

To get into the modes menu, all you have to do is press the fire button three times. You will then be able to browse through all the available modes – wattage mode, temperature mode for three supported materials (stainless steel, titanium and nickel), three TCR memory modes and even Bypass, which lets you pull power straight from the battery, but with all the built-in protections still active.

Joyetech Ultex T80

But the Ultex T80 actually has a secondary menu you can access. Hold the fire button and the ‘+’ button pressed simultaneously for two seconds, and you will be taken to the settings menu, where you can, select which secondary parameter appears on the main screen (voltage, amperage or puffs) enable and disable Stealth mode (turn off the display), select the duration and intensity of the preheat, check the version of the firmware and, finally, check the voltage of the battery.

Apart from custom curves mode, and other bells and whistles that you don’t really need, this thing has all the main features you’ll find on the latest advanced mods, which is pretty darn impressive.

Joyetech Ultex T80

Navigation is pretty straightforward, as all you have to know is that the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ buttons are used to browse through various submenus and options, and pressing the fire button confirms your choices.

The Tank

While the Joyetech Ultex T80 is pretty cool for a regulated tube mod, it pales in comparison to the Cubis Max tank, which is a bit unusual, as in most other similar kits, you get a run of the mill tank that works ok but doesn’t really blow you away. But as I said before, this kit is different.

Like the original Joyetech Cubis tank, the Cubis Max features top airflow to minimize leaking. It has an e-liquid capacity of up to 5ml, and can be refilled through the top fill port, by sliding the top cap outwards. Just look for the red arrow on the top cap and push against it with your thumb to reveal the fill slot.

Joyetech Ultex T80

The airflow channel on this tank is very interesting. basically that chimney going through the middle of the tank has air and vapor going in opposite directions. There is an outer channel through which the air travels from the top airflow slots down to the heating element at the bottom and then goes into the inner channel and reaches the user’s mouth. The design is similar to the OBS Engine RTA, only here you can actually see both channels when you disassemble the tank.

But what really sets the Cubis Max apart from any of the tanks I’ve ever used is the fact that it doesn’t need coil-heads. Instead it uses a replaceable heating element called NCFilm heater, which I am pretty sure stands for “Notch Coil Film”, as this heater looks very similar to Joyetech’s innovative notch coil.

Joyetech Ultex T80

So how does this NCFilm work? Well, it’s actually quite an interesting design. The heater is screwed to the inside of the tank and on the tank base you have a square sheet of cotton pressed against it. When the battery is activated, the NCFilm element, which is made of Kanthal, heats up and vaporizes the e-liquid absorbed by the piece of cotton. The juice flows into this unconventional wicking through two slots located on either side of the heating elements, so you never have to worry about the cotton drying up as long as there’s e-liquid left in the tank. Thank you, gravity!

The Cubis Max is designed in such a way that you can check the cotton wicking and even replace it without having to drain the tank, which is a big plus. All you have to do is unscrew the outer ring around the base of the tank, hold the atomizer upside down and then grab the connection pin and pull the base off. Then you can adjust or replace the sheet of cotton, put the base back on and keep on vaping.

Joyetech Ultex T80

The biggest advantage of this innovative NCFilm is that you can actually clean it and reuse it for several months. That doesn’t work with most coil-heads. Once gunk builds up around the heating element and on the wicking, all you can do is throw it away, but with this heating element, you can just dry burn the juice deposits, change the wicking and you’re good to go. Joyetech claims that you can use an NCFilm for up to three months before replacing it, but I guess you can use it even longer than that if you’re vaping a clear, unsweetened e-juice.

And since the Ultex T80 kit includes a spare NCFilm heater, you’re good to go for at least six months, which is a huge pro in terms of maintenance consts. To replace, just use the included screwdriver to take out the two tiny screws keeping the heating elements in place, put the new one back on, and you’re good to go.

Joyetech Ultex T80

Battery Life and Performance

As I mentioned, the Joyetech Ultex T80 is powered by a single 18650 battery (not included). Battery life depends on a variety of factors, like the capacity of your battery, the set power output and how much you’re using the device. If you’re going to crank up the power to maximum (80W), that battery won’t last you more than a couple of hours, maybe three, but at a reasonable power level (40W – 50W), you’re probably going to get around 6 hours of battery life. That’s been my average range anyway.

The Ultex T80 features on-board charging, fast charging and vape-while-charging. The battery charging rate stated on the Joyetech website is 2A, and you will be able to use the device while it’s charging. That’s pretty good, but if you own an external battery charging, I recommend you use that instead whenever possible. It’s safer, and it’s better for the battery.

Joyetech Ultex T80

In terms of performance, I haven’t had any issues with the mod whatsoever. I don’t know what chip Joyetech has used this time around, but this device fires extremely fast, and so far I have yet to encounter any errors. It works as intended is what I’m trying to say.

The tank is about the same, although there are a few things I would like to point out. The NCFilm may have the huge upside that it can be used for a long time and thus save you money, but it also tends to shoot droplets of hot e-liquid into your mind every once in a while. It’s not nearly as bad as the original Cubis and it’s BF coil-heads, but it does happen occasionally so I have to mention it. However, the droplets rarely make it all the way to your mouth, and they’re really small so you barely feel them.

Joyetech Ultex T80

Another thing I have to mention is the mediocre flavor. It’s not bad, but it’s definitely not the best I’ve ever gotten out of a tank either. As far as I can tell, it has nothing to do with the wicking not being completely saturated – Joyetech’s system actually guarantees perfect saturation – but rather with the way the airflow is designed. You see, the air coming through the outer chamber of the chimney only hits the top of the NCFilm heater and then goes straight through the inner chamber, and that’s not ideal in my book. The airflow doesn’t even hit the heating element directly, not to mention coming in from underneath it to push all the flavorful vapor into the chimney, but rather travels above it before shooting back up.

Overall, the NCFilm heater is a very interesting innovation, I just think it needs a bit of work to perfect. I for one can’t wait to see what Joyetech does with it going forward, because the premise of a reusable coil for casual users is definitely going to appeal to a lot of people.

Joyetech Ultex T80

The Joyetech Ultex T80 surprised the heck out of me. The mod itself is way more advanced than I expected, featuring most of the modes and settings we usually see on high-end box mods, and the NCFilm really made the Cubis Max tank the star of this kit. The fact that you can clean it and use it for months is a potential game changer, and the performance was promising as well.

Whether you’re looking for a tubular mod that’s packed full of features or just want to see what the new NCFilm heating element is all about, I recommend giving the Ultex T80 a try, it’ll surprise you.

Vandy Vape Pulse 80W BF Squonk Box Mod Review

Vandy Vape has announced that the Vandy Vape Pulse BF Squonk is no longer a mechanical squonk. We’ll almost, there is a newer regulated version with one of the best non-DNA chips on the market, the Vandy Vape Pulse BF 80W with Gene chip mod.

It’s exciting. It’s regulated. It’s a squonk box. Its the highly rated Vandy Vape BF Squonk Mod with a Gene Chip which is used in the popular Voopoo devices such as the Drag and the Alpha One.

Its named simply Vandy Vape Pulse 80W BF Squonk Box Mod with Gene Chip, well… not that simple but the clue is in the title in that it will only output up to 80W.

The battery choice includes a 20700 battery or with the included adaptor a 18650, but not a 21700 battery.

The Gene chip will allow the mod to have both Variable Wattage and Temperature Control modes, and boasts almost instant firing.

Panels are resin or carbon fiber and will be swappable like the original Pulse BF Squonk. Sizing is different so you can’t use the original panels. As It’s bigger than the original, and according to Tony B, a 24mm diameter tank will fit without overhang.

There is also a re-design of the squonk bottle connection to help prevent our biggest gripe, squeezing the bottle as you remove/replace it into the mod and making a mess of your e-juice.

Wismec Reuleaux RX2 20700 Kit Review

I’m sure no other vaping device has seen as many iterations as Wismec’s Reuleaux series. I can’t even count how many there have been! Nevertheless, Wismec has decided to release another, hot on the heels of the Gen 3 comes the Reuleaux RX2 20700.

You may have guessed by the name what this device has to offer by the name; it is dual 20700 battery box.

Let’s look at how the new Reuleaux stands up against its predecessors.

There really is only one fundamental difference between the Reuleaux RX2 and the GEN3, and that is the batteries. The RX 2 20700 gives you the option to use either dual 20700 or 18650 batteries. This means users can expect a max output power of 200-watts with a top output voltage of 9 V.

The original Reuleaux was a major hit, and it seems with the GEN3 that Wismec created another great device probably the smallest triple battery mod on the market today. But is the RX2 really necessary?

Well, it’s not a bad thing to have options, and I applaud Wismec for giving users plenty of options. There maybe be many vapers that haven’t invested in a GEN3, and this mod might just offer a great versatile option in the emerging 20700 category.

The Reuleaux RX2 comes with a large 1.3-inch OLED screen (just like the RX GEN3). The form and outer appearance is a relative affair, the only real differences being a slightly taller, but thinner chassis and a larger firing button.

It also comes paired with the GNOME Atomizer, in either 2 mL or 4 mL capacity. The GNOME is actually a surprisingly good tank as part of a kit, with the WM coil heads providing excellent vapor and flavor.

Although there isn’t any substantial new technology to get excited about here, and it wouldn’t be worth trading your GEN3 in for. The Reuleaux RX2 20700 looks to be a versatile dual battery kit that comes from an excellent pedigree and will unquestionably suit plenty of vapers.

Joyetech Exceed Box Kit review

Today We will tell about the next recruitment for beginners from the company Joyetech called Exceed Box.

The Chinese from Joyetech definitely know a lot about starting sets. Moreover, this feature has been noticed for the company since the days of one of the first “Eyeshek”. Recently on the pages of our site flashed a review on the Exceed D19 Kit – a modernized device of the old diameter of 19mm, which received quite good reviews on the Internet. A few days ago the manufacturer continued the line of devices with the name Exceed and presented already a box mod, staffed with an interesting cleric. Let’s take a look at all this joy.

Joyetech Exceed Box Kit is a next “whale” for beginners vapers, brought to almost maximum ease of use. The novelty is available for purchase in five basic colors. Interestingly, the complete tank will have a similar color box in all cases.

The battery pack received a built-in 3000 mAh battery with the ability to charge up to 1A. Exceed Box can work in two modes: constant voltage and the principle of mehmoda. Switching between these modes occurs when the Fire button is pressed three times.

The control function of the device is assigned to a tiny LED-display of circular shape. Can this screen, by the way, not so much: to display the level of charge of the built-in battery and to inform about the switching of the modes of soaring. A little lower you can see a strip with a highlight around the fashion, performing similar actions to the display.

The “whale” tank was called EXCEED D22C and it is quite a standard non-service, however, with some of its features, which include, for example, the modern possibility to change the capacity from 2ml to 3.5ml.

Joyetech focuses on the new filling system, developed with special protection from children. To open the lid, you will need to press and rotate it. It is unlikely that such a construct will cause difficulties for anyone, but the manufacturer at least tries.

By and large, the tank is not something unique, but, coupled with the MTL-evaporator, can become a good alternative for fans of tight tightening, who do not want to bother with winding.

Dimensions: 25mm * 41mm * 115mm
Weight: 145.8g
Capacity of the tank: 2ml / 3.5ml

Maximum charging current: 1A

Review Of Wismec CB-60 Kit

The Wismec CB-60 Box Mod is paired with Amor NS Tank which is a MTL (Mouth to Lung) Atomizer, that will provide you a great flavor satisfaction from your e-liquids. This Kit is ideal for Beginners who are new and trying to switch to Vaping. It is also intended to be a Tank for Nicotine Salts with a higher nicotine level without the harsh throat hit.
The Wismec CB-60 Box Mod has a dimension of 22.6mm x 36.9mm x 75.9mm. This is a very portable vaping device to use that is perfect on-the-go, it can fit perfectly with no hassle in your pocket.

I really like how Wismec Company designed the exterior Metal plate that is angled, adding a good overall aesthetics, simple but powerful. A curve design on the other side for a more comfortable grip. Firing Button location is also a big plus for me, it is good or I must say perfect for a thumb press firing.

First of all The Wismec CB-60 Kit is created for Beginners and for Nicotine Salt E-Liquid with high nicotine contents, this is not a Cloud chasing set-up. The Amor NS Tank is intended to be a MTL (Mouth to Lung) Vaping, meaning the vapor you will get is somehow similar to the level of smoking. 10 – 13 watts is enough for a great flavor experience for MTL. Tip: Don’t go higher than 13 watts with Amor NS Tank.

On the other side, you can also use the Wismec Box Mod to pair with other different atomizers, it can still provide you a good performance because of its maximum output of 60 watts, that can fire-up a simple Sub-Ohm coil resistance builds.

Like I said the Wismec CB-60 Kit is a perfect Vaping Device for Beginners. It doesn’t have any complicated system setting that you need to worry about, simple interface for a simple device. The Amor NS Tank which is advertised by Wismec for High Nicotine e-liquids. It gives a really good flavor, and take note higher nicotine level with this tank doesn’t have that strong nicotine throat hit that you will mostly experience on a Sub-Ohm Vaping Device.

Overall experience is great. I am a big fan of Wismec in terms of the materials they are using for their products, those brushed finish metals looks and feels really good, you can choose from 5 different color option at Urvapin, I will highly suggest getting the Bronze Color option .
